I love the silent hour of night,

For blissful dreams may then arise,

Revealing to my charmed sight

What may not bless my waking

eyes.

On Anne Bronte made 2 unfinished drawings of her pet spaniel Flossy, gifted to her by her charges the Robinson girls. But there's also this sketch - it could be a Robinson girl with Flossy, but I think it's a self portrait of Anne and her beloved pet!

Fun fact: Jane Eyre was published under a male pseudonym. Charlotte Bronte used the name “Currer Bell” to mask her gender while keeping her own initials. Sisters Emily & Anne also used pseudonyms for their publications, going by Ellis and Acton Bell respectively.

Did you know: Jane Eyre's 'Madwoman in the Attic' was based on a real person? It is said that Bronte drew inspiration for her 'madwoman' after viewing a secret passageway in a medieval manor which led to 'Mad Mary's Room.'

Arthur was really a party animal at Bronte’s house. He had so much Fun, really into the mood… Happiest person at the party... (I let him grow his hair at max but the game bugged and now he's almost bald... Too bad.. I'll get drunk of hair tonics ).
