So I think I'm ready to share 2 new paintings per week instead of just sharing wip screenshots.
It's hard at first working 32 - 40 hours a week but I learned a good method. It's possible to do this.

Experimenting with rendering all "water decals" to a custom buffer, then pulling it into the water shader and aligning it correctly works...but I think there's too many issues with it to actually use this method.. :(

So I tried a different style because nothing I did was working for me. Here I used different brushes, softer colors, and a different shading method. Looks cute.
