Lane Yates offers a sharp dissent re: Keeping Two, the new graphic novel by Jordan Crane centered on imagining the fate of one’s domestic partner: “a comprehensively one-note performance premised on a dated phobia.” Spoilers in this one. https://t.co/W40T1CDRMQ

Unlike the manga, where the human Akira posseses Amon to become Devilman and make war against demons, the anime version works under the opposite premise. Which is that a demon possesses a human individual to fight against humans, but then switches sides out of ❤️ for a 👩🏻.

This is the only NAOH book I didn't really like but I thought the premise was cool.

68. DRIFTING HOME
Man, I really wanted to like it because I love Colorido's aesthetics and the Stephen King-like premise, but it moves way too fast for its long runtime and it doesn't make me care about the children enough to be emotionally drawn by the high-stake set pieces.

2) Chibi Vampire (Karin)

This was fun!! Its more comedic but has neat lore for the vamps. The premise is a young vampire who's the odd one in her family... her issue is instead of drinking blood, she overproduces blood and injects it into the people she bites.

I have a character who’s premise is an unlucky gambler, so I managed to hide all four card suits in his design!
Heart- tail tip
Diamond- eye
Spade- necktie
Club- the shape of his body/silhouette

More highlights:
- I can finally play return to dreamland
- FE Engage has a cool premise
- More people can finally experience Symphonia
- Stellar Blade looks quality
- Octopath 2, New Zelda, Tekken 8, SF6, Pikmin 4, Raincode, Fatal Frame, Bayo 3, FFVII... All big stuff 👍

My take on the Fire Emblem character discourse:

I think that what a character’s premise is and what their context is really factors into how people view their designs.

The Engage MCs have two-tone hair and eyes in a universe where that’s not really a thing afaik.1/?

Sienna Vulpes... I've never flushed out her semblance without making OP, but the premise is that I based her of of the Pokemon Eevee.

This is the premise:
Can a kid battle his demons before they destroy him and the people closest to him?

I've had them wiggling in my head for a while now. Theyre based on the short story "The Most Dangerous Game", by Richard Connell. Their basic premise is a rich man who got bored with hunting normal game, and a biologist who became disillusioned with humanity.

For those who don't know, this is Master and it's about a martial artist named Olivia as she leads her family to what she sees as a better life only to realize that the life she’s trying to leave behind is the one she should be fighting for.

So far the premise is pretty dope

As a kid I loved Kameo elements of power for its central premise of having the protagonist transform into monsters and Bayonetta 3 basically brings that back

Hell yesssssssssssss

MARRIAGETOXIN has been an entertaining read for me on Mangaplus. It has a bizarre premise (hitman needs to find a wife; his friend who helps him on missions is a crossdresser) but the extreme personalities and high octane action present in each arc makes it stand out.

D3: manga u started out enjoying but ended up hating
bokuben & gotobun no hanayome

hate is too strong. more like disappointed. Bokuben had a fun premise and likeable girls but the last few arcs became too meh (like nisekoi) that i felt nothing even tho all girls had a route-

Here’s mine!

“Your Future Past” is an action fantasy comic that’s updating weekly! It follows the premise of reviving a dead goddess in an inter dimensional war… eventually.

I can’t wait to meet more of y’all!

Stilllwater by Chip Zdarsky and Ramón Perez is a cracking read - a great premise that's well-explored, and top-notch storytelling.
