This late Victorian poster was given to the Archive Department by the Ladies' College Biology Department. We have several of these posters which used to hang on the classroom walls before Science textbooks contained many illustrations or photos.

This 1953 image shows a dance which marked 100 years of College. Our archive tells us there was great excitement amongst the girls - "frocks began to be ironed, mended and even made for the occasion; parcels arrived from home with shoes, stoles, gloves and bags."
