Colour

If your client's character is already made, they probably have colours you can colour pick.
Choose your colours and fill in lining with the fill tool. Each colour must be on a separate layer.
If the character has no colours find some premade colour palettes online.

Ai vs me. As inspiration I see it as a valuable tool. Clearly it has the ability to make a pretty picture and eventually they’ll fix some the weirdness of it. It will be interesting to see how it develops.

I'm afraid I folded and subscribed to Midjourney. I found it frustrating last night and instantly regretted it but it is interesting. So much depends on what you ask for. I still think it lacks a certain human touch but it could be a helpful tool.

One thing you need to handle when colouring is white space. I often end up in the position of having to create some environmental elements on these instances, so learning to render with digital paints has been a handy tool.

Just finished my first ever illustration on procreate and my brand new IPad air.
It was SO MUCH FUN ! And took like 2h30. Happy about how fast I learn to use this new tool.
