A Grima piece I'm still pretty proud of. I don't usually make 'painted' pieces like this, but I was playing around with blending colours and a new brush, which gave me the motivation to come back to this and finish it.

Due to the software, I approach stuff simply, can't go mad with layers, no blending modes or clipping masks. I'll do a wee blocky palette if ref'ing photos and keep in the corner to sample rather than having the photo in the BG so it is more its own thing https://t.co/69KStQoR7G

2/5 Wax blending stick (Caran D’Ache). Wrong proportions, wrong shapes, wrong everything. graphite & bit of colour to get used to the stick. couldn’t control it. I didn’t like the wax bloom. I like the burnishing effect,but I’m not sure if I want to invest the time to practice it

I took a look at a few more pictures & what I was talking about is most evident in 2B’s ass/skirt, the white/blue girl’s hands/skirt, & the helper’s & kirin’s hands, gut, r arm, and thigh.
Also work on blending the colors together more. It’ll look smoother & transition better.
