Happy birthday to #FairyTaleTuesday! To celebrate it, some artwork by Gustaf Tenggren,a Swedish-American illustrator. Tenggren was a chief illustrator for The Walt Disney Company in the late 1930s, when films such as 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' and 'Pinocchio' were produced
But after a time the legend evolved to the point where the banshee lost its grief and sympathy and became just an evil harbinger of death. As the tale evolved even further, the banshee's song transformed from a message to the reason of somebody's death. 2/2
