also new sketch i started working on today at work. trying to do ye ol' blocking in painting with super crap sketching. i feel like i'm getting faster at using a mouse. happy with how this is going
First and second try x´3 It´s just awfully much. Tried to draw smth I had in my mind but it didn´t work out so I changed the direction completely. That´s sometimes better than just focusing on smth and blocking of everything else.

So I tried the greyscale thing...it wasn't for me...but the blocking out the lighting definitely helped! I was playing with layers and blend modes and colours and things...still not too sure what I'm doing but I just wanted to draw a character I like in my own way so 😁 #senku

i practiced painting!!!!!!! i havent painted in a long time so i decided to do it, i heard doing it by colour blocking saves time so i did it that way, im not sure it saved time but it definitely made it less stiff
