I finally got to play more thoroughly and it was quite good, the controls were very tight and the action was speedy as advertised

Also the player character's design and the PS1 warped texture aesthetic reminded me of Zero Divide and Armored Core :P

But I also have to mention Resident Evil 2 Remake. Such a phenomenal recreation of one of my favorite PS1 titles. A great balance of action, scares, tension and suspense. One of the best titles Capcom has ever produced.

Finally got around to ripping some of the cute Natsume art from the story mode of Gundam the Battle Master 2. PS1 ripping ended up being bit of a pain involving savestates, vram and palette hunting. (1/2)
