I had no idea the licker was a T-Virus boy! Makes sense with this amazing concept art for an RE2 remake enemy that was a zombie mutating into a licker. Would have rather seen that instead of the paleheads.

To add to this, DMC1/RE4 had a lot of enemies that were originally BOWs/G-Creatures that were either scrapped, redesigned or reused later. Pretty sure the The Nobody at one point was a Licker
