First attempt and decent example of my style going forward!
Faces were feeling too flat and samey, so adapting a semi-realistic style gives me more freedom! This also makes things like eyelashes stand out more, and look prettier!

I can kind of see where the artist is coming from. The eyes, eyelashes, and the shading is similar. There are a lot of similarities. But it's not outright tracing nor is it 100% alike. The way they handled it was COMPLETELY wrong. Witch hunts are not the answer.
