The scientific name for Breadbugs is “Pansarus Gluttonae”.

‘Pan’ typically means bread, the suffix ‘-sarus’ is used to refer to reptiles, and ‘gluttonae’ just comes from glutton.

So the Breadbug’s scientific name basically just means ‘Fat Bread Lizard’.

No sean infantiles. 💖🥰

In Turkey during the Ottoman Empire, tulips were used to decorate everything from tiles to royal armour. Unusual types were expensive and Sultan Selim II ordered prices to be fixed. He punished those caught overcharging severely - his Head Gardener was also chief executioner.

It seems from twitter that a lot of people are decorating at the moment, I keep seeing photos of little splodges of paint on walls as people try to choose their colours! 😂
I thought this might provide a bit of inspiration, wall tiles by William De Morgan, c. 1882-1907.

Grukshi, also known as Greenjaws are tree-dwelling gliding creatures that are usually found in the tropic forests. Not the brightest mind of all winged reptiles, but they are energetic, stubborn and most of all, gluttonous.

As an aside on future art styles, I love hand drawing things, but I also love pixel art.

I will probably favor pixel art for games for a bunch of reasons, chief of which is that a game made out of tiles -- even 3D tiles -- feels richer to me than a game made of bespoke assets.
