Memories of Qilin by is one of the most beautiful collections.

It brings a wonderful blend of shape and form in an almost material like fashion, it reminds me of the intricacies of Japanese Boro textiles.

The lakes in parks glisten in the sunlight, with pairs of mandarin ducks adrift on the water. In traditional Chinese culture, mandarin ducks symbolise love. The motif of a pair of mandarin ducks is often found in textiles and artworks in Beijing.

🩸 The were a peaceful tribe known for their beautiful textiles and carvings, but they had a dark secret. They worshiped a deity called the "Azukara" and believed that by sacrificing human lives, they would be blessed with a bountiful harvest🩸
