✨Another WIP of November Reward✨
Before I work on the final detailed sketch, I add rough values to make sure the shapes are interesting and believable.

Planning subathon point values is really challenging... It's hard to tell what's a reasonable amount and what isn't. It's also hard to tell if rewards are worth their cost or not, even if I try to put myself in the shoes of a potential viewer.

I'm trying to study drawing more, but facing the problem of not understanding volume (mainly in anatomy) is kinda really hard. Maybe im bad at observing?
Anyway, I built this redioactive gradient map that contrasts values.
It kinda helps?
Thoughts?

Hi everyone ! In today's episode of "Deilareth doesn't have a consistent style" I propose you : my current character !
I tried focusing more on values and a more stylized figure.
I hope you'll like it !!

Once you click, random phases are calculated, and the waveforms ramp to those new values over 15 seconds as the audio fades in.

This means the music and animation are always different. You can sit and listen to the piece repeatedly and hear it new each time.

Colouring remains the worst. My process is generally - do b/w tones to get correct values, shade it, then paint colours with overlay/multiply/screen as needed. But that bleaches the skin in more pigmented lighting, apparently! So gotta darken the tones to not bleach out my boyyy.

【SynthV】The vocal synth of the hour is Cangqiong.
A member of the Medium⁵ cast, Cangqiong has a air-themed aesthetic. Though she values logic, she is kind and has a soothing voice.
Xingchen, Haiyi, Shian, and Chiyu are her younger sisters.

'Tree in a Landscape.' Theodore Major's highly personal and symbolic vision of Wigan and the town's near landscape was intended he said 'to disturb and extend consciousness in the mind of the viewer. I wish to attack accepted standards, to awaken the mind to spiritual values.'

"Whenever I craft a new piece I immerse myself in the essence of it, and because I mostly do work that addresses social issues I’ve learned to question my own ingrained opinions, values and beliefs” - Stephanie Bester

My values are a mess here and my technique was incoherent, but I like this quick photo study regardless. The airbrushing almost makes it look angelic.
