1. Repentance is obviously still in development. we are quite far along, but still need to add a few more bosses, items, a cutscene or 2 and bonus things youll shit your ass about. our goal was end of summer, but due to the lag caused by the pandemic it may take longer.
I always knew that, but after reviewing the cutscene again in the last chapter of the chaos saga, I again became convinced that Gravelyn is the best girl #LongUnlivetheEmpress #Gravelyn #AQW #BestGirl
Here's a bonus; I managed to extract the intro cutscene from Rayman Advance

I first played Grandia when I was about 12 and remember being captivated by the first cutscene of Alent. 16 years on it remains my favourite game of all time, and has had such a massive influence on my art and storytelling. I love this game with all my heart ✨

"I think we both know the answer to that."
Trying new art mediums is always fun for me! Even when it doesn't turn out exactly as expected. The opening cutscene from Halo CE done on whiteboard!

I worked on enemy designs (with @kevins_computer) & intro/ending cutscenes. Was my 1st game to take part in, and had a blast!

The GITS game had animated cutscenes directed by Hiroyuki Kitakubo (Golden Boy). Production IG also broke grounds with this game by adopting a full digital coloring technique instead of purely relying on cel animations.
AZURE on FM Towns conveniently stores its cutscene graphics as .tiff files on the main CD track. Of course, the colors are all wrong!
I presume the game renderer post-processes these images with the correct palette, but looking at them bare is, uh, something.
