When drawing armor, it doesn't necessarily have to conform to the human body underneath it. Overemphasizing proportions can improve the aesthetics, especially for helmet size.

@Jolly_Jack I agree. I used to trace and it didn't actually HELP me. I've learned to copy-by-eye instead, which has helped me understand proportions and poses much better, helping me learn to pose without references
