Kyon is a purposely overtly normal main character; “Kyon” isn’t even his name (we don’t know it.) His narration and dialogue bleed together and we’re often unable to tell what he says out loud.

So I finally got to watch #BlackAdam, it's mostly a lot of action scenes with a simple plot to tie them together, kind of like Transformers. So if you just want to watch a ton of SFX in action set piece, might do the trick

I think the last time I saw so many small square panels used regularly throughout a comic was the Cyborg 009 manga literally from the 60s. To use it in action scenes is a bit cheesy, but it's perfect for reaction shots.
