Populous by EA/Bullfrog Productions for the Master System (1991). Enjoyable strategy title described as one of the first god type games. Takes a little while to get used to with the isometric layout & various options but has a fair amount of depth once you do.

So I tried this throwaway DSiWare game called American Popstar, and it turned out to be an actual pretty good looking isometrical sim game. It even shows a censored version of your character taking a dump on the toilet. Take that Travis Touchdown!
