So, the story behind these: was helping raise money for I donated & said bee for a sketch. I expected a, well, bee. Avaltor sketched an amazing Hive Queen gamer. Of course I had to commission this. First as greyscale & then in color. Love it so much 💛🐝🎮

If you want some advice, I’d say you’re on the right track. Monochromatic illustration is a good way to help you understand form. Though, I started out doing this with greyscale. The following is one example (even though it’s complete shit)
