I had to switch artists when one bailed mid project on the second issue. It sucks trying to find someone else who’s work is good and still affordable all the while maintaining a quick turn around. Anxiety has been turned up since then. But do what you can. It’s part of it. 👍

Primarily Mobile Suit Gundam and Heavy Metal L-Gaim works, this one stood out to me with it's great use of an 'autumn' color scheme. No specific Robot Carnival pieces, however, a few pages focusing on very mid-to-late '80s fashion & design are excellent substitutes.

Art Tip: Toned tan sketchbooks are one of my favorite paper types. The light brown paper gives you a mid-tone that allows white ink to highlight. I usually have a brush and jar in my sketching supplies, along with standard pencils and markers.
