i am not immune to shaded refs i made them all the time as a kid. they still had little colour swatches to colour pick from bUT WHEW some of the markings were lost to the shading [you can BARELY see the tail rings and grey belly on the first one dgdl]

thanks! :} i tend to make my marills more orb-ish in shape. this is how i drew my friend's marill "superbutt" (who i actually used as half of my fusion back when i made him in 2014). the skitty half inspired his markings, fluffiness, and proportions a bit more
