100 years ago today the 19th Amendment was ratified. A right woman had been fighting for more than a 100 years before that, and one that still needs protecting. And I hope with all my heart that this will be the year we elect a woman VP.

Why does it seem so problematic that we are unable to stop this? Are we saying the president can literally do anything he wants and no one can stop him?

Because I bet if Barack Obama was shanking the Post Office in the shower, there would be a constitutional amendment in action.
