100 years ago today the 19th Amendment was ratified. A right woman had been fighting for more than a 100 years before that, and one that still needs protecting. And I hope with all my heart that this will be the year we elect a woman VP.

when (white) American women received the right to vote. This did not include the Black and Indigenous women who fought equally for this right. They weren't considered American then. Be clear on this distinction
