Imo the designs of this CYL were a little underwhelming. They don't look bad, but not the best either.
Tiki in her young self attire isn't bad but a little bland
Seliph in Sigurd's outfit feels like effortless design
Byleth in Sothis' outfit same case as Tiki
Chrom feels off 🥲

Even though I'm mixed on the CYL designs this year, the artwork for them still claps and Seliph in Sigurd's outfit is 👍👍👍

I am waiting until it is not 5 am to elaborate on my mixed feelings for cyl but I’ll get one thing out of the way.

My absolute WORST fear that Tiki wears her childhood clothes AND is sexualized have been realized. You can’t have both feh 😡 (No hates towards artist of course)

I find it weird that the next grand hero battle is another lance cavalier since Brave Chrom is the same class xD

You know, since finishing Shadow Dragon on the Wii U, I’ve really come to appreciate Tiki’s past and future designs more... despite previously playing Tokyo Mirage Sessions and Warriors...

Point is, although somewhat simple, I do like the illustration for Tiki in this CYL. 💚✨
