The most 'elegant' of the Gloster Meteor family, (in my opinion) was this 'stretched' Meteor NF14 night fighter, from 1953.
These aircraft were built by Armstrong Whitworth, after Gloster was tasked with developing the more advanced Javelin, all-weather interceptor.

Nope. I tried it. You're stuck with "Interceptor-12" etc. Can get really confusing if you have, say, one armed with only a cannon, to bring down those very small UFO's. ..also, the flame and smoke don't animate. And the exit button is still labelled "Quit to DOS." 😮 Outrageous!
