Heres some WIP - I tend to do a really loose quick sketch to figure out proportions and general flow, and then spend a long time refining the lines to find cool shapes and weight. Coloring tends to be easy after a quick value sketch

I customized the head model proportions to fit May so it'd be easier to draw more difficult angles.

Also tried out the assisted shading on my previous art, interesting to say the least!

This will be my last reply on this...

As a proof this the sketch I did - can be aligned with the most basic shapes on an existing art style.

Now this sketch was done in about 5mins- no refs what so ever yet it still match the illustration due to its proportions.
