Update 26 for my #streetfighter art month, Ryu's "Shinkuu Hadoken" super move.
Old school fans may remember Super SF2's nicely animated hand-drawn intro with Ryu blasting his Hadoken fireball right out of the screen. This piece is a homage to that sequence.

Here's my 20th #streetfighter update for Sept; Ryu's SF2 ending showcased him honing his skills against a cascading waterfall.
Thought this would make a neat image for a card & got to draw the Shoryuken uppercut from a different angle.

obsessed still with the background snake in the brazil stage, only i think it was blue in the original sf2
3) My first main was Ryu, back when I got into fighting games, I first started emulating old titles, like SF2 and the alpha games, I always picked Ryu.

The Iconic Villain of #StreetFighter since #SF2
Dictator #Bison #ベガ fans,
enjoy~ 👍😉👍

Found the palettes/materials for all #starfox2 builds! I lucked out where multiple roms used the same master palette. For the others I instead had to match the solid color data tables to get my bearings. Here are the SF2 Beta 95-06-22 Wolfen models: they still have the logo panel
I'm not sure people realise just how much of an impact Street Fighter 2 had on gaming. Arcades were filled with cabinets of this massive hit.
This was a photo I took in Sydney's Timezone. Note the kid on the left with hand written move sets.
Did SF2 impact you?
⬇️↘️➡️👊
@Tinpotgamer I've hard about the Rainbow Edition, that's a 'famous' one.
I mean, I *knew* SF2 was stupidly big in arcades, but I'm not even *trying* to have a board yet here I am.
Now DarkStalkers, on the other hand....
What I’ll always love is when a game gets updated to make it more refined.
SF2 and SF Alpha 3 are great example of this for expanding the roster in later versions.

O Bison do SF2 com uma cabeça de Galoomba .
More progress on my little StarFox model exporter: it can now process all of the SF2 builds. Some of my favorites are the enemy mechs/robots, like this guy from the earlier builds. He's got several animations.
The SF2 art existed before Dan or Go were official characters, so you could argue it's neither of them. If you want to follow basic canon though, it can't possibly be Go.
Here's official art of young Sagat (look he has hair!) with no chest scar, but his eye is still messed up. His eye injury happened long before he got scarred by Ryu in the events of SF1, which take place before the Zero/Alpha games and SF2.
@maximilian_ Some of the win portraits from SF2 Revival. The use of perspective in these is great.
@maximilian_ Edayan's SF2 Revival art was incredible & I feel like not enough people ever got the chance to see it as it was a GBA game & the art never really got shared a lot compared to things like Alpha & Marvel
