Happy Birthday to an iconic duo that needs no introduction.

The kings of over the top slapstick and the core originators of pure cartoon violence.

A duo who truly show that silence is golden.

They’ve made us laugh and will continue to do so.

Happy Birthday Tom and Jerry!

SAKAMOTO DAYS:
Last of the new entries in the magazine for 2020. It's a little inconsistent, but at its best it's a fun, breezy pastiche of action films, highlighted with some great looney tunes physics and slapstick.

Nelson was trying to find a supermarket when a banana peel stopped him! Guess he should’ve paid attention.

"Catch that hedgehog, Agent Stone!"
"I'm trying doctor, I'm trying!"

Decided to draw my AOSTH Stone showing his most unique feature: Stretchy arms!
(It's to add a bit more slapstick to his character)

Being half-robotizised doesn't seem to help catching Sonic tho...

gir's cuter and none of the slapstick gags involving chuck really hit

Frank Cho’s juvenile humor often falls flat, but he’s excellent at slapstick gags and I’m amazed by his ability to draw pretty women with goofy expressions. Drawing someone meant to be attractive, making a funny face, is not easy.

Ok so Jdog is a Toon with Toonforce. Toonforce is an ability that most Toons have. Like Bugs Bunny, Micky Mouse, Woody Woodpecker, Slapstick (Marvel), Yakko, Wakko, and Dot. You know, characters like them. It's an ability where they can do literally ANYthing they want.

Fun fact! He’s technically a BOGO sale 😂 Indrid is....not as sweet as his brother
The binder of holding leads to some good slapstick tho

I had an idea a last year that would kinda act as a spinoff featuring a barbarian dog in medieval times, which would also be a lot more violent, raunchy and serious compared to the norm my usual brand of being slapstick and wacky.

Hope you m8s enjoy this idea m8s

the thing about it potentially being a prank is that anyone who knows anything about physical humor knows that slapstick works best (and not to mention is most ethical) if you do it to YOURSELF.

Katto (pronounced Kah-toe) is a smug, suave and conniving rival toon cat of Kip's. He'll often plot to take Bow right from under Kip's nose, if not through physical slapstick, through deception. Also a bit of a womanizer, makes sure his hair is in tip top form.

Staying around Lain, another show worth mentioning is NieA Under 7, made mostly by the same staff, adapted from manga by Yoshitoshi Abe, Lain's character designer. A slapstick comedy at first sight, a very clever story about adulthood at its core.

...and here's the slapstick police violence. Since the criminal's squishy face made it look brutal, I made sure to include indications that they were fine (just woozy), but it's a bit uncomfortable to read now, knowing more about widespread real-world police brutality.

INAHLES comedians rik mayall and adrian edmunson started out as a comedy duo called "20th century coyote" which was a stand up act with a bit of slapstick that laid the basis for the humour of the Young Ones and other works including and by thm, around the same time a comedy clu
