So, apparently my copy of FF9 is damaged and it got stuck in a cutscene on disc 4, but it turns out that if you change the disk to another FF9 disk like 3 or 2, then change it to disk 4 again and wait a while, it skips the cutscene and I can keep playing.

FUCKING LIFE SAVER dude

The alternative was, if you had a datasette, to plug it in and press "play". The game couldn't tell the difference. 😁

Apparently, their album Scratch or Stitch had a different cover before it got reissued outside of Japan. Neat!
