Book 96: Bestia, Vol. 1

Bestia is surprisingly good! I like the London setting, and the female lead Edgar is pretty awesome. Aco Arisaka's artwork was also quite impressive, and they delivered some great two-page spreads!

Spoliarium is really impressive, but I have to say I was absolutely floored by The Death of Cleopatra, when it was showing at the Juan Luna/ Raden Saleh show in the National Gallery in Singapore. That foreshortened arm!!

I started watching "Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki" pretty fun OVAs by far, the animation quality and production is really fucking impressive, it has some gorgeous visuals too.

The protagonist Tenchi is annoying AF tho, but Ryoko is a qt :3

I was particularly disappointed by GG's third album so this EP was a nice return to form. Not impressive, but very solid.

BTW, don't act like Metalocalypse aint gorgeous. Sure the animation isnt impressive, but personally I love the Mike Judge inspired character designs, and the background art is amazing, each background could be a metal album cover.

Gamefreak made a game called Giga Wrecker which has the protagonist, Reika Rekkeiji, losing her arm in the intro, replacing it with a mechanical one.

Gameplay wise, the quality doesn't look too impressive, and it honestly reminds me a bit of some flash games on the internet.
