Star Saber's final visual design was drafted by famous Mobile Suit Gundam mechanical designer Kunio Okawara, who was also the design lead on the Victory cartoon. This resulted in Star Saber's classical "super robot".

観たい舞台ばかり。小川絵梨子さんや佐藤信さんの演出は未見ゆえ逃せないし両作脚本もどうも僕の好み臭い。KUNIOは『水の駅』ぶりか。タカハ劇団は前観た『僕らの力で世界があと何回救えたか』がめちゃめちゃ良かったんだよな。...や、節約なんかしてられっか。良いもの書くには良いもの観る他ない。
