Pooh at Piglet's House.

“I wonder what Piglet is doing," thought Pooh.
"I wish I were there to be doing it, too.”

December 1, 1919: A.A. Milne's comedy play "Mr. Pim Passes By" premieres in Manchester. It centers on the turbulence in a respectable English household when the fallible memory of an elderly visitor leads a husband & wife to believe that they may be bigamously married.

"14, wasn’t it?” said Pooh.
“What was?”
“My pots of honey. I just like to know," said Pooh humbly. "So as I can say to myself: 'I've got 14 pots of honey left.' Or 15, as the case may be. It's sort of comforting."
"Well, let's call it 16," said Rabbit. ~A.A.Milne

Married for 21 years, Catherine Salt wife of Jnr was widowed 1887. Son Gordon was born 277 days after the wedding, just in time to quash any rumours. Left with 4 children, the youngest two aged 13 & 11 Catherine sold mansion & moved to Denton Hall. https://t.co/WL7WCdtUNn

A funny feeling began to creep all over him. It began at the tip of his nose and trickled all through him and out at the soles of his feet. It was just as if somebody inside him were saying, “Now then, Pooh, time for a little something.” ~A.A.Milne

He begins with a quaint and juvenile bit of word-play about sitting cozily by the fire – describing how the fire “roasty-toasts” Jean. It’s the kind of disarming prose that readers might expect to find in Milne’s ‘Winnie-the-Pooh’ rather than an X-Men comic. 3/11

This one is based on the Maximum Dinobots comic with a different chest plate. They might be intending to swap out both the dino and bot head along with it I figure to follow the Milne art more closely.

First work in series of lateral reconstructions I want to do. This is Pendraig milnerae (or "chief dragon"), a coelophysoid from late Triassic of Pant-y-ffynon Quarry, southern Wales.

I have a house where I go
When there’s too many people,
I have a house where I go
Where no one can be;
I have a house where I go,
Where nobody ever says “No”
Where no one says anything - so
There is no one but me.

“Tigger is quite big enough,” said Piglet.
“He isn’t REALLY very big.”
“Well, he SEEMS so.”
Pooh was thoughtful when he heard this, and then murmured:
“Whatever his weight in pounds, shillings, and ounces,
He always seems bigger because of his bounces.” A.A.Milne
