Elias X Mackintosh part 2

The final for the second painting I have done of Elias. This study is in Gouache. Gold was used in the vines, but is difficult to photograph. I got to deliver this in person, a real treat!

I applied the first layer of color to my on piece. I had to use 6 layers of fixative to make the charcoal somewhat stay in place. Right now it looks a bit like an old faded photograph. When it's completely dry, I'll apply the next layer. 🎨🖌️
