Bubble

The premise of "dudes have parkour races through a city that's been fucked up by gravity altering bubbles" is really cool but the fact that it's used for what is essentially a not at all subtle retelling of the little mermaid is kinda lame.

Manga, not anime. But tossing it in anyway

Triage X
I started this with low expectations but really enjoy it so far. Same artist as HotD, so lot of fanservice. But its better paced here, and the action is a lot cooler. Designs too.

Premise has also kept me engaged so far.

This week's new JUMP series is TOKYO DEMON BRIDE STORY, a action/romantic comedy about a guy who saved a demon as a child and now finds himself betrothed to her.

It's a solid premise, but something in the structure of this first chapter didn't really work for me.

I was already sold on Briar based on the publisher (), creative team ( and ), and premise (dark take on an already dark fairy tale). Looking at some of the ratios and store exclusive variants just sealed the deal.

finally gonna work on finishing birdie wing and i dragged my friend into watching it from the beginning with me with the premise of lesbian golf mafia

The premise of: what if a firelizard had no tail but the butt of a man? Yes i spent time making this a template; fight me.
[#art/#dragonart/#dragonridersofpern ....yes good ruin that tag]

Summer Time Rendering (The most horrific thing about this series is that the anime was produced for Disney+ so 🤪- the manga delivers the mood/horror best, but here's the trailer because it did a better job than the wiki on explaining the premise)

Yo!!

My comic is called “Your Future Past” and is available to read on Webtoon, updating weekly!

It follows the premise of reviving a dead goddess in the midst of an inter-dimensional war - all to save time itself.

Feel free to give it a read!

Read up Tomie by Junji Ito. It's got a bit of ick to it but overall I loved how it played out and how Junji kept the premise interesting for so long while basically repeating it with iteration on iteration per chapter.

Basically my favorite Junji story now. Love that guy.

TW: religious themes, slight distortion

You almost cannot, CANNOT, find a horror or thriller type of thing, without at least a bit of VAGUELY RELIGIOUS THEMES INVOLVED- HECK IT COULD EVEN BE THE MAIN PREMISE-

eight billion genies is about what would happen if everyone in the world were all given a genie that would grant then any single wish

the story is as fun and creative as you can imagine with such a cool premise like that

One of my fav pics of the princesses💖 I know the premise of Citrus isn't for everyone but it's executed so beautifully. Pls check it out if you haven't- you'll thank me later!

honestly her horror works are very underrated. she doesn't depend on grotesque imagery but instead the gradual increase feelings of eerieness & eccentricity in a simple, grounded premise which makes you feel more easily unsettled. last one is licensed btw.

If I were to make a comic it would be about August and Mazzalin.
The basic premise would be like idk them being detectives and August's backstory being explored and other wacky stuff!!!! but i dunno how to write that so its just a thought for now

For those worried that the current iteration of Stable Diffusion might prevent people from paying artists anytime soon, I'll let my earlier c0mmissions with the same premise, from @/arddingo and @/naufaldreamer respectively, speak for themselves

Watched Spectral (2016) don't know how this one passed me by until recently it's a solid Action/Sci-Fi film IMO not sure why Universal didn't release it in cinemas and chose to dump it on Netflix? Interesting premise mixed with some good action particularly the last half hour👍

Watched The Sea Beasts w/ some of my friends, who nagged me into drawing a couple characters from it (due to a lack of fanart otherwise)

Anyways, cute movie. Predictable premise, but executed well. Also the character designs are on point 👌

just two wife guys, one pretentious and the other sincere. sounds like a sitcom premise just waiting to happen. https://t.co/L4xakLigL3
