when troubleshooting hands, I will forget the fingers and concentrate on the palm first. Then I rebuild the fingers based on that, mentally picturing them being made of cylinders (roughly) to symbolize the flanges.

Finally done cleaning up the majority of my spaghetti code. The battle system now properly handles 3 enemies. They have a different function as well as different cards. Makes troubleshooting that much easier..
