Love the art style in this rendition! Great job contrasting the soft contours of the kimono with the more defined edges of the Azuki herself, which in turn helped guide the viewer’s focus to the Azuki. (Also love how the cat’s focus on the earring)

The kimono-to-school uniform transformation was very clever, especially with the depiction of a younger Spirit Azuki! The anatomical accuracy of a younger self was on-point, and I particularly appreciated the color contrast between her eyes and eye contours.

I absolutely love how intricately defined the face and hair are in this rendition—so beautiful! In addition, I thought the background with the small embers/flowers provided great contrast in emphasizing her beauty. Loved the red bean keychain too! ^o^

I thought this rendition was a nice mix of action and beauty, with the dynamic elements of the piece (hair, pose) well balanced with the static elements (Azuki body, sword). Add to this the contrasting colors and it’s safe to say this PFP was well-designed!

From Spirit Azuki to Demon Spirit Azuki, this entry was an interesting transformation—and one that was well done in my opinion! The red horns contrasted well against the turquoise Spirit, and the yellow kimono & dark background provided great counterbalance.

A very clean take on my Spirit Azuki! I love the well-defined line art, especially what was done with the eyes—so beautiful yet intimidating. My favorite part was the one strand of hair that runs overhead—funny contrast to her serious demeanor!

Unique top-down perspective! I think the contrast in light & dark between the character and the background was very well done, as it helped to focus the viewer on the Azuki. What caught my eye specifically was the handheld firefly & shining eye—nice touches!

A very cute Chibi portrayal of the Spirit Azuki! I think my favorite aspect of this rendition aside from the wonderfully rendered character & background would be the use of “spirit butterflies” that contrast the material butterfly on her hair—love it!

The swirling lights and flowing turquoise hair bring out a sense of alertness on behalf of the Azuki—as if she’s ready for anything that comes her way, and yet remains calm with a contrasting facial expression. Quite an interesting rendition!

I found the inclusion of the lunar cycle to be very cute, fitting given that the Azuki is deemed a “Spirit Goddess.” In addition, I thought the color scheme (white hair, night sky) complimented with contrasting butterflies was skillfully employed.

Now the challenging part is color planning. From the start, I already knew I wanted a blueish color for the forest as it's a night scene. In contrast, I use red color as their coat so it will be more eye-catching.
