HERE WE GO! We watched/ rewatched Death Note, trying to capture the feel of the series + to nail key shots. As you'll see, details came later. This first board pass is to block in the large brush strokes. Rob and his A.D. Dane Romley gave us some nice initial designs to work w/.

i think it would be cool if pokemon trailers showed the starters or any other new mons evolution form in a silhouette so they can get people more interested into wanting to capture it

I tried to capture that retro sci-fi aesthetic with the distortions and VCR scan lines. But I always agonize if these effects improve it or not. So here's a clean version if anyone would prefer that.

My attempt at what looks like to me failed utterly to capture the atmosphere I was going for. So I rendered it instead.

Looks like Haojie is captured by his enemy. His enemies tried to get information out of him by torturing him, but Haojie seemes to enjoy it.

27 - Sport: Tennis!

I'll be honest, I'm not the type of person who is competitive... or sporty.

But I have set out to change that, and one of the sports that most captures my attention is Tennis.

Bearded Seal

-
Mysteriously, In 2007, a Bearded Seal was spotted on the southern coast of the U.S. state of Florida, more than 2,000 miles away from it’s natural range. Two days later it was finally captured by rescue teams, but was severely thin and dehydrated.

‘I give it all’ my fav creation ever.

I wanted to capture:

-raw vulnerability of
-physical connection & skin-to-skin preciousness
-thinning hair, loose skinned unglamorised beauty of exhausted perfection

Hoping they find their collector

I took a photo of something 2.5 MILLION light years away: The Andromeda galaxy. This was done by combining over 30 hours of exposures captured over a couple weeks. This was done entirely from my backyard using a telescope that is shorter than the keyboard I'm typing this on.

Correcting a skilled artist like Tatsuya Yoshihara is always a tough job, but if there's one AD/CAD I trust every time for this, it's Kosei Takahashi.

He perfectly captured Yoshihara's style and expressive drawings, and I hope he'll be able to correct him on the movie as well!
