There are multiple ways you can do a ref sheet. I'd say the most important part of a character's ref sheet would be at least one colored picture of them, and their palette. You can add things such as items they carry on their person, or a different views of them. Have an example

Shai from in sailor outfit. Her name is Elisetta.
The original colors of this costume is blue and white. But due I have sailor dress in green and red colorway irl I decided to color shai's clothes in the same palette.

Made many changes towards the colour palette. The red used before was too bright. So I went for more of a darker reddish-brown and the accent colour would be lighter for the leather jacket.
