10.) Geno.
At first I wasn't too huge on Geno, but after going back to SMRPG, thinking about how fun and unique his moveset would be, admiring his design and character a lot more, and anticipation of him likely getting in made me a lot more interested in this long overdue boy.
9.) Paper Mario
I'm surprised I don't want this character as much as everyone else does. Maybe it's because I'm putting my attention on Geno first, but it can be argued that Paper Mario would be a better pick. Better relevancy, creative moveset potential, he'd be pretty rad.
8.) Fawful
People saying Geno or Paper Mario would be the best characters for a Mario RPG rep. I think we are forgetting about a special and (according to M&L's presence right now) relevant little bean who would love to unleash his furry all over the competition. Just saying.

It looks like a mix of the Mii Costume and the original art for Geno.
The yellow part of the cape is built into it, instead of being a separate piece like the Mii Costume. I feel that Sakurai would keep that if Geno was a full character.
The chest also looks higher than both.
I may not be a fortune teller but these 4 are 100% coming to #SmashBrosUltimate as Newcomers. Skull Kid, Geno, Issac, and Shantae. RT if you agree.
