I tried to be more « accurate » with the proportions of the Baxes and tried to do stuff I don’t usually do
I used my Gremlin to do so lol

Found the first image online... Now I'm editing it to find the perfect proportions...
I want to wear the third one from left to right...

Speaking of the whole "Shinkiro didn't make the SNK artworks in CvS1", some inconsistencies become clearer when you look at the imitations knowing this.

Some proportions are off, the coloring and lines sometimes look blurry and/or thick.

(Left is Capcom, Right is Shinkiro)

Quick sketch to celebrate the trio that saved the world(s) a disproportionate amount of times! *I used the wrong tag

There's this seal fella (that I never showed here) I made a little while back and there's already a pretty distinguishable difference in his proportions since I first drew him, almost two months ago.

Left is early February, right is late March

was trying to draw up a horn/face scale ref for my wol since I get confused abt them myself, not rlly proportional but I'm giving up

Honestly I don't see it, most of the designs are closer either to Gundam or to a default human proportions, not to a exaggerated proportions of Evangelion. There are some more skinny than others, sure, but I wouldn't call it a prevalence.

A couple of close ups.
Feel like I'm finding my style. Still lots to learn about body shapes, proportions, hands, eyes, faces, clothes, lighting... But getting there!

Blue Baller is a weak, meek man who when he got his powers decided to turn the tables and become the bully. He can drain the physical strength from anyone or anything, proportionally weakening them and increasing his own power. He can make steel soft as tissue paper.

Another spoke cave mutant, cursed with a head of eels. While impressive strength for their twisted proportions is a constant among them, all other aspects of the mutation are impossible to determine.

Hmm this is some good advice as I always tried to give my characters different body types but like I never thought about exaggerating proportions in fear of it looking too weird- maybe that’s why I’ve always thought my art seemed kinda- bland-

I have a 12x36 canvas prepped and have cropped 4 of Monet's paintings to the rough proportion. But which one to study?

That's what I did for me and my gf! Literally just took our body proportions and put them on animals that fit our personalities!

And the low poly horse is actually starting to look horselike! Just need to make some proportion changes and then we good :)

He was so hard to digitized properly that I have to sketch him out, then I have to redo him for the 3rd since he had incorrect proportions

Thank you to for giving me her kitty whose got "Klaus" to draw and color.

Still pretty slow to draw, but proportions feel better. Also trying to understand how to color better. I'm still scared off from texture brush coloring, but I need to try that another time.

ppg is why i ended up drawing in the first place, and it's where my love for pushed proportions and thick lineart came from. but there's also jjba which made me a bit more keen on how i draw the human form, and she-hulk which made me take interest in how i draw my lines

Played around with Val's proportions

one character design thing id recommend is don't be afraid to explore drawing different body types epically when drawing exaggerated proportions. it can do a lot for simple designs and can create some fun characters
