Here are some references I used.
Neck ornaments (white and red knot, tied with a thick rope, and bells) were based on urns and depictions of their jaguar deity.

Also, take a look at the first jaguar's paws and the feather head ornaments in codices!

- fluttershy's wings are mostly ornamental, and she can only fly small distances before needing to rest. she's a fantastic glider though!
