Also! If you elf is meant to have a different hair color, and you know some editing, make a correction layer (or set of them) with the fix and have it saved. Then just put it on the image and add a mask on it to quickly edit hair color!

Comparing cel photos against Toei's recent movie remasters. The difference in colour correction across the movies is very inconsistent. Movies like the first and eighth are largely pretty accurate, crop aside ofc, while movies 7 and 9 and many others have a strong yellow tint.
