least fav: my lionheart and willowshine look DISGUSTING. the idea is there but the execution is awful who coloured these

i think less is more most of the time, i left a little too many highlights in this case. but i still went in with a hard white brush and added smaller highlights to the fabric wrinkles and areas around the edges just to make it look extra slick. and thats it.

on the layer that you kept as a Normal layer, add a little bit of an outer glow. then start gradually erasing this layer, revealing the overlay layer beneath it and softening the highlights

start with a very dark gray or light black. then on a Color layer and a soft brush, go in with dark blues, magentas, and greens in areas where the light would hit. highlights fall in vertical stripes and at high points

Getting through the "ugly" stage. Blocking out highlights and shadows isn't very glamorous or sexy, but it's important that you get it right. At least the beard is coming along nicely.

In less than a week, Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition releases.

The original game was as critically acclaimed as any Final Fantasy was on PS1. Definitely one of this years RPG highlights, even if it isn't a completely new game.
