i used to set lineart to multiply, but that gave me extra work w/ transparent bgs. these days i use a blendy brush. gives it a nice painterly look imo?? and u dont have to be super precise!

I realllyyyy.... avoid drawing bgs lmao. I usually do lineless bgs/use a lot of shapes/use textures and keep my shadows pretty simple. Most of the time just from one light source. The lasso tool is what I use quite often.
