Find a colourist you can trust. The only direction I gave was to keep the scene dark [at the bottom of the sea] but also subtly highlight Ursula. The ripples of light across the frame really help and Sebastian is prefect as the brooding prop behind.

Last year, I heard a rumor that Zendaya was cast as Ariel in the live action The Little Mermaid. But then I found out it’s actually Halle Bailey! So I went back and fixed up my old drawing to represent her instead! She’ll do great!
