Without: High Difficulty, she has light magic, flight, and her guns, but isn't the best fighter.

Put a fair few hours into Chained Echoes today and aye, I like it. Fairly pretty looking 2D sprite visuals and gameplay with a nice edge of difficulty that encourages making use of your whole part.

Enemy damage does feel a smidge overtuned at times but its not a big deal

What's really triggering me is her hair, more specifically, how every in-game image of her has a slightly different hairstyle :P
