problem with Cloud is his sword straight up lies to you about where it’s hitbox is. The tip of his sword doesn’t even have a hitbox on a lot of his moves. Most sword characters can have tippers or spacing that they can visually see. Cloud vs Ike and Lucina nair are all accurate

one of my favorite things, visually, about is the seamless blending of our 2D+3D assets; instead of being confined to one realm, I got to lend my hand across the game--combat BGs, flashy abilities, shots of poignant in-game moments, and tasty (if questionable) items!

It throws off the color balance, and makes Sonic look too monochromatic. It’s “too much blue” in a sense.

Best comparison I can think is off is how more recent iterations of Superman don’t have the red “underwear”. It doesn’t ruin the look, but it’s a lot less visually striking.
