Depends what you mean by painting really.

If I’m painting, I use the round something brush in the thick brushes (it’s the first on the list) but I don’t use lineart.

If you mean for like shading and stuff, I’ll go in and cell shade then blend out with the painterly blender.

I finished a thing today! First time sculpting in Blender. Forgot to use dynamic topology but when I did try it, I didn’t know how to set it up. Anywho, now to take a lil break and then paint the texture and retopology.

I wanna try and make 3D rendered art that looks like Pre rendered game art from the 90s. I have some ideas for projects. I'm having trouble finding out how to replicate that look using Blender. At least in terms of lighting and materials to best replicate the smooth SGI look.

Workarounds is the lifeblood of all these animations. Cycles is the ray traced engine in blender. Since all the limbs are angled slightly different the light paths bounce off of them differently, making a noticeable change in color. The workaround was to compensate by coloring.
