The presentation in CvS1 was truly amazing
If you pick CAPCOM GROOVE,
- the Capcom characters would appear first, in Daigo Ikeno and Kinu Nishimura's art.
On the other side, if you pick SNK GROOVE,
- the SNK characters would appear first, all in Shinkiro's art.

It was actually the opposite though. SF and Capcom games in general were more animé in their artstyle than SNK's. You can see this when you compare KOF characters with their CvS versions.

2. When you play as normal mode Kyo in CvS1, his QCF+Kick special, 75 Shiki: Kai, is absent.
However, this move can be accessed when you play as EX Kyo, where he plays like his '95 counterpart, which it makes no sense since Kyo always uses this move, even with his rekka movesets.

THREAD: I wanna address something that bugs me in Capcom vs SNK (2) as a KOF fan who often mains Kyo. It's trivial, but just a bit of a pride talking.

I feel Capcom did Kyo a little dirty on his CvS appearances. Don't get me wrong, he's represented well in his transition-

Retsu would appear in Capcom Fighting Jam alongside Eagle and a younger Sagat, representing the first Street Fighter.

Retsu had a standing sprite made, Eagle was to be reused from CvS2 and Sagat has nothing to show, but he'd get a new sheet for his older look alongside Retsu.
