New to the internet #paleoart for #FossilFriday, from 2019: the tanystropheid Dinocephalosaurus hunts for small fish by uprooting algae. There are things I'd change about this now but this is a "lost" painting - the original Photoshop file is missing. It is what it is.
@Truegreen7 I thought you might like this really cool marrowak design I made based on different fossils you can get ingame, I tried to make it caveman esc cause it’s prehistoric stuff
thankyou whoever came up with 'mold pigs' to call these goobers

In hopes of the upcoming DLC, I made concept art of what correct Galar fossils could look like! [https://t.co/ro9PTpKfSc]

@linllen 🪷Character: Beryl
🪷Pokémon: Ripley (shiny Quagsire)
🪷Fact: She studies ancient Pokémon and spends a lot of time fossil hunting. Definitely prefers fieldwork to lab research.
🪷Hobbies: She travels for work, but loves doing touristy stuff. Enjoys battle festivals/tournaments.
I finally wrapped up my Wikipedia work on flamingos (Phoenicopteridae) with the article on Harrisonavis, aka somehow the single best fossil flamingo period.
@ICRscience "So evidence whatsoever" shows either no research or straight up lying. Neither is flattering for you. I mean you can not accept the evidence, but these fossils ARE evidence that a transition happened.
@SexyUncleDave If I type “A large priapulid worm living on the seafloor” to try and get a picture of Ottoia, it completely loses its mind. Whereas an artist can look at fossils, and look at images of living animals, and actually depict an animal. AI will never be able to do that.
Dina from Fossil Fighters: Champions as a pokemon trainer! she's an intern at Devon Corp and hopes to share her fossil aspirations with Steven Stone!

2 meters long. That may not seem insane compared to T.rex or a Columbian mammoth. But for 480 million years ago, Aegirocassis was downright enormous! #FossilFriday
Bluey Anning with Bingo, dino plushies and some of Bandit's fossil collections...

The first #FossilFriday post of 2023 seems like a good day to say that I have new book available soon. Pre-orders will open at the beginning of February, and the book will ship in March. It features all my work from 2022 including the sketches from last month’s charity sale.
Fossil lover?? Hardly know him-
ITS JESSIE!!💛💛💛 (Try to guess who I used for this one XDD)

@AltHistoryHub is this the geological equivalent of those really bad fossil reconstructions from a century ago
